How do I join CER LARP?
CER LARP is a Live-Action Roleplaying game where you assume the role of a character you create. Using the rules of the Player's Handbook and the Shared Story of Medius. Players embark on a journey of adventure and magic. CER stands for Custom Engine Roleplaying. We decided to create our own system so we could play how we wanted to and we think our system is quite unique. If you enjoy games like Skyrim, Baldur's Gate, and Dungeons & Dragons; our game is for you!
To Participate in CER LARP simply come to one of our events! Your first session is free and we will help you get started with loaner equipment. If you like; it is recommended that you come with clothes that are weather appropriate and can move easily. Try to dedicate yourself to the entire session length. You will need a valid photo ID.
After your first event you should have a pretty good ide on how you would like to play and how much equipment you will need. Don't Worry! Just build up that gear as we go along!
Each session after your first is $5 and this cost helps us build up our LARP and maintain the game. There are also season passes available.
CER LARP is for anyone interested! We are open to new and returning players. We ask at this time that players please be 16 years of age or older, or 14 with direct supervision from a legal guardian. All participants must fill out a liability waiver before being allowed to participate.
CER LARP has three pillars of play; Storytelling, Character Development, and Combat. While each pillar offers unique goals and rules within our game; a player may choose to forgo combat if it does not suit them. CER LARP is a physical game but will make all available efforts to accommodate.
LARP is for the day dreamers and the dragon-slayers; the adventure seekers and the secret retrievers.
