The veil between the living world and those dead things that creep just out of your sight is thinnest on All Hallow's Eve. Dark powers are amplified in this time, and many seek to claim it for their own. What dark, gelatinous monstrosities lie in wait?
CER MIDWEST'S HALLOWEEN EVENT is open to LARPers and non-LARPers. Come camp with us at our overnight event, and be scared or silly all night with events, games, and special late-night encounters! Open to new and experienced players, no prior experience needed!

FRIDAY NIGHT- WELCOME BONFIRE AND TALES OF PAST DAYS
we will pitch tents and get the bonfire ready then tell scary stories of our past experiences to honor the dead and spirits.

a mock ritual will be performed to honor and appease the dark spirits on the lead up to All Hallow's Eve.

*Meals require purchase of a meal ticket. This money covers the cost of the food for the event and helps the LARP.
What you will need;
• A tent, just large enough for you. Oversized tents will be removed if they are not full. You can bring a larger tent if you coordinate sharing with someone.
• Enough comfortable bedding and leisure items for Friday Night- Sunday Morning.
• Snacks and hydration; even with a meal ticket; it is encouraged that you bring snacks for down time. Make sure to bring plenty of water.
• Proper medicine and toiletries. Bring enough stuff to stay comfortable and hygienic.
• Weather appropriate items such as sunscreen and bug spray or if its cold, thermal layers and warmers.
• Back-up batteries and banks; there will be no electricity at the camp.
• Lamps, torches, and flashlights. There will be no lights or electricity in our camp; so make sure to have something to see with!
• Your Garb: If this is your first event; don't worry about a costume; If you're a returning player make sure that you have enough clothing for the weekend including fancy (formal) dress for Friday's Feast, armor or garb for Saturday and lounge wear for Saturday Night!
Special Rules for This overnight and the Park;
• This will be an ALCHOHOL and DRUG FREE event.
• The park closes at 9PM and opens at 6AM. When closed the park gates will close and lock at those times so leaving and entering might not be possible during those times.
• Only boffer weapons will be allowed; no real weapons.
• As stated above; we will only allow tents that fit you and your tent mates; we will not allow oversized tents for those that do not need them. Tent must also be completely set up; please do not partially pitch your tent and do not pitch a tent if you are not going to utilize one. Depending on the weather and space; hammocks may be utilized.
• No personal fires or propane heaters allowed inside tents; this includes candles. All candles and burning lanterns should only used outside of a tent where it is safe to do so. We will have one campfire and one cooking fire; both of which the admins will maintain and tend.
• You will be responsible for anything that you bring in. If you hauled it in; you will haul it out; this includes trash. Our goal is to leave the park cleaner than we found it. Public restrooms will be available.
• We will not inhibit or disturb the regular schedule of the normal park operations. We will conduct ourselves in a polite and family-friendly manor.
CER is an local custom LARP system built from the ground up with emphasis on narrative, puzzle solving, and exciting combat. Overnight events (this one) are $30 for the event and $30 for a meal ticket (food optional) paid in person, or on CERLARP.com before play; however, as a new player your first session is FREE to participate in.
Come experience the thrill of live action role-playing in our monthly group. We are now actively recruiting for the 2024-25 season! CER provides a welcoming yet competitive entry to LARP. CER is a locally created and maintained game. Open to all new and seasoned role-players.
We request that players be ages 16+ unless accompanied by an adult. Loaner equipment will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please bring LARP garb and equipment appropriate to the weather, plenty of water, and bug spray/sunblock!
First time players will need to be 18+ or have a legal guardian present to sign a waiver of liability with a valid photo ID.
