The Might of the North is Eternal... The Northbourne Army pushes on to uncover the plot of the Sansuran Brigade and how it aligns with the fangs of an ancient, once-sleeping dragon; Cryosis, the Frozen Wind of Medius. The Army is tired and weary after its encounters with the Deep Dwarves of the Shadow-Dark and the Curse of the King-Taker; but heroes rally in the darkest of hours. Where will your story take us?_ LARP, Live-Action Roleplay is the next logical step for fantasy immersion for those with interests in cosplay, sports, or roleplay in general. LARP is for anyone interested and CER is a great starter system for any new players but also offers depth and complexity for established players or players from other systems. Come by and see why our LARP is unlike anything you have ever experienced before! CER is a local custom LARP system built from the ground up with emphasis on narrative, puzzle solving, and exciting combat. Join us at the D8 Summit to sample our rules and magic. We will be actively recruiting for the 2024-2025 season and giving demos of our immersive system. Hope to see you there! From the Con: Beautiful New Home, Same Great Con Join us for our 2024 show, now housed in the historic Post House Ballroom in Dixon, Illinois! This beautiful building offers all the classiness and amenities you have come to expect from our charity event, but with a few additional perks. These include a bar on-site, with an allowance for outside food and (non-alcoholic) drink. Several quality and affordable eateries and entertainment venues are within a short walk of the convention hall, and they are ready to serve you. We will also have events at fun alternate sites around town, including in Paper Escape (the area gaming store) as well as in the home of D8 Summit Charities itself!
